Tripartite Agreement Signed to Boost Afghanistan’s Air Exports
DID Press: Afghanistan’s Ministry of Trade and Industry announced that a new path for the air export of domestic products to global markets has been opened through signing a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Chamber of Commerce and Investment and “Bahar Momand Cargo” company.

In a recent move to strengthen Afghanistan’s exports, the tripartite MoU was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, and Bahar Momand Cargo company.
The agreement facilitates the air transport of Afghanistan’s export goods through an air corridor to international markets.
According to the press office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the MoU was signed in the presence of Mawlavi Ahmadullah Zahid, Deputy Minister, Mullah Janat Gul Akhund, Director General of Trade Affairs, Younus Momand, First Deputy of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, and representatives from Bahar Momand Cargo.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bahar Momand Air Cargo has committed to providing export transportation services at more competitive prices and higher quality compared to other cargo companies operating in Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Taliban caretaker government described the MoU as a significant step toward boosting the country’s exports. The ministry emphasized that, once implemented, it will create greater opportunities for Afghanistan domestic products to access international markets, which could in turn improve trade relations and strengthen national economy.
