DID Press: Pakistani army announced on Monday that a roadside bomb explosion in Kech district, Balochistan, killed five soldiers, including a captain, during an anti-terror operation.

According to the military’s statement, the troops were targeted while conducting operations against insurgents. The attack left one officer and four soldiers dead.
The army further reported that security forces subsequently killed five separatist militants involved in the bombing. Military officials said clearance operations in the area are ongoing as efforts intensify to eliminate insurgent groups operating in the province.
