Iraqi Militia Leader: Martyr Nasrallah Restored Arab Dignity

DID Press: Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, Secretary-General of Iraq’s Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, said that Sayed Hasan Nasrallah “restored dignity to Arabs and wiped away the shame of defeat at the hands of the enemy.”

Speaking on the first anniversary of Nasrallah’s assassination, al-Khazali praised the late Hezbollah leader’s lifelong struggle and resistance, saying “he fought and resisted for the sake of Allah, and Allah granted him the medal of martyrdom and the high status he longed for.”

The Iraqi leader emphasized Nasrallah’s pivotal role in strengthening the “resistance equation” in the region, adding that commitment to his path means adherence to the principles for which he lived and was martyred.

“Sayed Hasan Nasrallah was a great and trustworthy leader, a noble man who embodied all the highest human values,” said al-Khazali.
