Trump Unveils 20-Point Plan to End Gaza War and Rebuild the Strip

DID Press: US President Donald Trump has released a comprehensive 20-point proposal aimed at ending the ongoing war in Gaza and facilitating the reconstruction of the besieged territory.

The plan calls for an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages by both sides, and the rebuilding of Gaza, envisioning a “new Gaza” without the presence of Hamas in either political or military capacities.

In an official statement, Trump said the initiative is designed to bring an immediate end to hostilities and pave the way for a long-term solution through economic recovery and international cooperation.

Key elements of the plan include:

Disarmament and removal of Hamas from governance and armed activity

Launch of mutual hostage release negotiations

Reconstruction of Gaza’s economic, civil, and security infrastructure

Mobilization of international humanitarian and financial assistance to support redevelopment and stability

Trump emphasized the importance of global support in implementing the plan, stating that restoring Gaza and creating economic opportunities will require cooperation and aid from a coalition of nations.

The proposal, he added, seeks to create a secure and prosperous future for the people of Gaza while reducing security threats to Israel.

“If both Israel and Hamas agree to the plan, a ceasefire would take effect immediately, and the hostage release process would begin without delay,” Trump said.
