Qatar Hopes Just Solution to Palestine Cause after Sharm el-Sheikh Summit

DID Press: Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani hoped that Sharm el-Sheikh peace summit will mark a significant step toward achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.

The Emir also expressed satisfaction with the summit’s outcome, calling it “the beginning of a new phase for future agreements.”

In a post on social media platform X, Sheikh Tamim wrote: “We are pleased with the positive results of Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit and hope it will serve as a starting point for future agreements that can fulfill the aspirations of our brothers in Gaza. We also expect all parties to remain committed to the common understandings reached, for the benefit of all.”

Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit, held on Monday, aimed to consolidate ceasefire in Gaza Strip and secure the release of all Israeli captives.

The meeting was attended by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The participants signed the final ceasefire agreement in Gaza at the conclusion of the summit.
