Islamic Development Bank to Build $24M Cardiac Hospital in Kabul
DID Press: Ministry of Finance of Taliban government announced that the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) will fund the construction of a modern 100-bed cardiac hospital in Kabul, at an estimated cost of $24 million USD.

According to an official statement, the project is the result of active coordination between the Ministry of Finance and the Islamic Development Bank and is set to begin soon.
The new facility will be equipped with advanced medical technology and specialized departments dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The ministry said the hospital aims to improve access to high-quality cardiac care for Afghan citizens and reduce the need for patients to seek treatment abroad.
Once completed, the project is expected to serve as a key medical center for cardiovascular health in Afghanistan’s capital.
