OIC: Israel’s West Bank Land Registration Moves Illegal
DID Press: Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned recent measures by Israel to register and “settle” land in the occupied West Bank as so-called “state property,” warning that the steps are aimed at deepening control, expanding settlements, and advancing de facto annexation.

In a statement issued on Monday, the OIC Secretariat said the moves form part of a broader policy to alter the legal, political, and demographic status of the occupied Palestinian territories, undermining the two-state solution and violating international law.
The statement rejected and condemned the Israeli decisions, saying they target the existence of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, including the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital.
The OIC said the measures are null and void under international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, including UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which affirms the illegality of settlement activity in occupied territory.
The organization urged the international community—particularly the United Nations Security Council—to intervene immediately to compel Israel to halt what it described as illegal actions and to ensure accountability for ongoing violations against the Palestinian people, their land, and holy sites.
