DID Press: Reports indicate that Iran’s intelligence service has covered part of the ground with thermal paint, a method that creates a similar appearance to F-14 fighters and is used to deceive enemy reconnaissance systems and guide attacks away. At the same time, the United States has released images showing missiles and bombs striking these thermal decoys.
Alongside these deceptive measures, the Iranian Air Force has also moved its fighters to underground shelters to reduce their vulnerability to enemy attacks and maintain operational capability.
This set of measures demonstrates Iran’s efforts to manage the risks of aerial attacks and increase the survivability of strategic equipment amid growing tensions.
