DID Press: Dominique de Villepin, France’s former prime minister, has urged international sanctions against the United States and Israel and stressed that France should remain uninvolved in the ongoing conflict.
In a statement, he said: “Under no circumstances will we participate in this war, and we will condemn it in all international forums.”
De Villepin highlighted France’s capacity to act on the global stage, adding: “We can take measures… we should not underestimate our capabilities.”
He called on the international community to use diplomatic tools and global pressure to prevent further escalation and reduce tensions in the region.
