DID Press: Security Council of the Russian Federation has warned that United States and Israel could use ongoing peace negotiations as a cover to prepare a potential ground assault against Iran.
In an official statement, the council said certain military movements in the region may indicate objectives that extend beyond diplomatic negotiations.
The body stressed that such a scenario could carry wide-ranging and destabilizing consequences for regional security and geopolitical stability.
At the same time, the statement referenced continued military activity by the United States Department of War, noting that the Pentagon is maintaining efforts to reinforce troop levels and operational readiness across the region.
International affairs analysts have also warned of rising tensions, emphasizing the critical importance of transparency and confidence-building measures in ongoing diplomatic processes.
