DID Press: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stressed that Israel should not be allowed to undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts between Iran and United States.
“We are putting forward the necessary proposals and initiatives to reduce tensions, extend the ceasefire, and sustain negotiations,” Erdoğan said, adding that Israel is widely perceived as dissatisfied with ceasefire arrangements and must not be permitted to sabotage diplomatic progress.
The Turkish president also expressed appreciation for Pedro Sánchez, praising his firm stance in response to threats attributed to Benjamin Netanyahu.
Erdoğan further responded to statements by Israeli officials directed at Turkey, asserting that Türkiye is not an ordinary power and that no party should show disrespect toward the country or its leadership.
