Expansion of Transport Cooperation: Taliban Delegation Meets Azerbaijani Officials in Baku

DID Press: A senior Taliban delegation led by Mullah Fayzullah Tamim held talks in Baku with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Transport Minister, focusing on expanding transit cooperation and improving regional connectivity.

During the meeting, both sides discussed facilitating Afghan freight movement, easing procedures for cargo vehicles, and enhancing the transport of petroleum products. The talks were held within broader efforts to strengthen economic relations and improve Afghanistan’s access to regional trade corridors.

According to details shared, the Azerbaijani side welcomed the expansion of cooperation and assured that necessary facilitation measures would be provided in transit and transport sectors for Afghanistan.
