3 Million Children at risk of Danger in Afghanistan
Afghanistan’s ministry of labor, social affairs, martyrs and disabled announced 3,1 million children are at risk of danger in Afghanistan.
“3,1 million children are at risk of danger. The fact is that terror, drug, human trafficking networks are all active in the country,” said Faizullah Zaki, the minister of labor, social affairs, martyrs and disabled at a press conference held in Kabul.
“2,7 million children are working and 1,2 million children are busy doing hard work,” he added.
Despite the efforts made to improve the lives of the children, Mr Zaki says, we still have major challenges ahead.
Earlier, UNICEF had announced the children’s situation is concerning in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the independent human rights commission has vowed that 5 to 6 million children are at risk of danger across the country.
Street children have unknown future in Afghanistan.
