Spanish PM’s Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Ankara

DID Press: A plane carrying Pedro Sánchez was forced to make an emergency landing in Ankara after a technical issue during a flight from Madrid to Yerevan.

According to reports, the incident occurred due to a fault in an Airbus A310. Sources indicated that the issue was not severe and did not pose an immediate threat to passengers on board.

Officials said Sánchez is expected to stay overnight in Ankara before continuing his travel to Yerevan.

The Spanish prime minister is scheduled to attend a meeting of the European Political Community, which is set to take place in the Armenian capital.
