35 Tons of Expired Medicines and Food Destroyed in Kunduz
DID Press: Afghan health authorities under the Taliban say 35 metric tons of expired and substandard medicines and food products have been destroyed in Kunduz province.

The Ministry of Public Health reported that the confiscated items were collected over the past eight months through inspections of wholesalers, retailers, and storage facilities across the province.
According to officials, the materials were publicly burned in the Dasht-e Abdan area of Kunduz in the presence of relevant authorities and media representatives, as part of efforts to prevent the circulation of unsafe goods in local markets.
Provincial health officials said the operation is aimed at protecting public health and enforcing stricter controls on the sale of expired and unregulated products.
