Afghanistan Holds Tourism Seminar to Improve Visitor Services
DID Press: Taliban’s Ministry of Information and Culture has announced the launch of a three-day training seminar aimed at improving tourism services and standardizing travel-related activities across the country.

According to the ministry, the program has been organized for staff members of tourism, pilgrimage, medical travel, and Hajj and Umrah service companies, with a focus on professional development and service quality enhancement.
Officials said the growth of Afghanistan’s tourism sector depends on standardized services, professional interaction with visitors, and stronger coordination among companies operating in the industry.
Participants in the seminar are expected to receive training in tourism management, customer service practices, professional standards, and communication skills for dealing with domestic and international tourists.
Authorities believe such initiatives could help strengthen confidence in Afghanistan’s tourism sector and contribute to the gradual expansion of travel and hospitality services in the country.
