Afghanistan Allocates AFN 12M for Kandahar Cricket Stadium Upgrade

DID Press: Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced the launch of new development projects at the Kandahar Cricket Stadium aimed at improving infrastructure, security, and spectator facilities.

Officials said construction work has officially begun on several infrastructure upgrades, including a perimeter wall to enhance security and the renovation of the pavilion to improve conditions for players and spectators.

The total cost of the project is estimated at around 12 million Afghanis, with completion expected within six months.

Authorities expressed hope that the development will help further promote and strengthen cricket in southern Afghanistan.
