DID Press: Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates have jointly condemned what they described as abusive treatment of activists detained from a Gaza-bound aid ship, following actions attributed to Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

In a joint statement, the eight countries strongly criticized what they called “humiliating” treatment of detainees, including alleged beatings and reported cases of sexual assault at the port of Ashdod, describing the incidents as a violation of human dignity and international law.
Observers say the coordinated response reflects increasing regional pressure on Israel amid accusations of systematic misconduct related to the handling of detainees involved in Gaza aid missions.
