Severe Weather Warning Issued for Multiple Afghanistan Provinces

DID Press: Afghanistan’s Meteorology Department under the Ministry of Transport and Aviation has issued a warning for potential moderate to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds, dust storms, and flash floods across several provinces of the country.

The agency said in an official statement that rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in parts of the country today, with windstorms carrying dust likely to affect multiple regions.

Authorities warned that vulnerable areas face a risk of sudden flash floods and urged residents to avoid riverbeds and flood-prone zones.

Citizens have been advised to follow safety instructions and take precautionary measures as weather conditions may rapidly deteriorate in affected areas.
