Iran-Afghanistan Trade Has Potential to Reach $10 Billion
DID Press: chairman of the Iran-Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce said bilateral trade between the two countries could increase to as much as $10 billion with improved planning and infrastructure development.

Mahmoud Siadat said that despite steady growth in trade in recent years, a significant portion of the economic potential between Iran and Afghanistan remains untapped.
He noted that Iran’s exports to Afghanistan are currently estimated at around $2.5 billion, but could rise to $10 billion in goods and services through targeted economic cooperation and investment.
