Herat Judiciary Warns Real Estate Offices Over Unauthorized Rent Listings

DID Press: The Justice Department in the western Herat has issued a warning to real estate agencies regarding rental listings published on social media and online platforms, stating that all advertised properties will be closely monitored by a regulatory committee.

According to the notice, the Committee for Monitoring, Control, and Prevention of Rent Increases will review all rental advertisements to ensure compliance with official pricing guidelines.

The statement adds that if a listed rent exceeds the official rate by more than 10 percent, legal responsibility will fall on the individual or entity that submitted the listing for publication.

Authorities in Herat urged real estate offices to strictly follow approved rental rates before posting any advertisements and to avoid violations that could lead to legal consequences.
