DID Press: Afghan national futsal player Mohammad Moradi has extended his contract with Palayesh Naft Isfahan Futsal Club for another season, continuing his career with the Iranian top-flight side.

The club announced the renewal as part of its efforts to retain key players ahead of the upcoming season. Moradi, a member of the Afghanistan National Futsal Team, has played for Palayesh Naft Isfahan over the past two seasons and has been regarded as an important contributor to the team’s performances.
The experienced Afghan international, who has also represented Afghanistan at the FIFA Futsal World Cup, was among the club’s influential players during the previous campaign in Iran’s Premier Futsal League.
With the new agreement, Moradi will enter his third consecutive season with the Isfahan-based club.
Club officials expressed hope that retaining core players will help strengthen the squad and improve its competitiveness in the upcoming league season.
The extension comes amid a broader trend of Afghan futsal internationals signing new deals or renewing contracts with clubs in Iran, highlighting the growing presence and influence of Afghan players in the country’s professional futsal competitions.
