Ansarallah Accuses Saudi-Backed Forces of Serious Abuses in Yemen

DID Press: The Ansarallah has accused Saudi Arabia and allied forces of committing serious human rights violations in Yemen, including the killing of women, targeting of aid workers, and repeated allegations of sexual violence in areas under their control.

Mohammed al-Farrah, a member of Ansarallah’s political bureau, said reports from what he described as “occupied areas” in Yemen reveal ongoing violations and “new scandals” involving acts of violence that he said are unprecedented in the country’s social and tribal history.

He specifically referred to reported incidents in Taiz and Aden, claiming that women have been targeted and that medical staff and humanitarian workers have been killed in multiple cases. He also alleged repeated incidents of sexual violence, stating that the most recent case occurred several weeks ago.

Al-Farrah further said the situation reflects the influence of extremist ideologies and armed groups operating under external supervision, which he described as undermining Yemen’s social fabric and traditional values.

The claims could not be independently verified, and no immediate response was available from Saudi authorities regarding the allegations.
