Germany Hits Seven Past Curaçao as Japan Hold Netherlands in World Cup Action

Germany delivered the standout performance of the night with a 7–1 victory over Curaçao. Felix Nmecha, Kai Havertz (2), Jamal Musiala, Nico Schlotterbeck, Nathaniel Brown, and Deniz Undav all scored in a commanding win. Curaçao’s lone goal, scored by Livano Comenencia, marked the nation’s first-ever goal in World Cup history.

In Group F, the Netherlands were held to a 2–2 draw by Japan after conceding a late equalizer in the 88th minute from Daichi Kamada. Virgil van Dijk and a Crescencio Summerville contributed for the Dutch, while Keito Nakamura also scored for Japan.

Elsewhere, Ivory Coast secured a narrow 1–0 win over Ecuador, while Sweden impressed with a 5–1 victory against Tunisia in one of the most dominant attacking performances of the round.
