Taliban Seize Pakistani Drug Shipment Worth AFN 7.5M

DID Press: Taliban security forces in western Afghanistan have intercepted a shipment of 250 cartons of Pakistani medicines valued at approximately 7.5 million Afghanis in Farah Province, officials said.

According to the Taliban police command in Farah, the consignment was identified and confiscated before it could be transferred illegally across the area.

Authorities said one suspect has been arrested in connection with the case, while investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend other individuals allegedly involved in the smuggling operation.
