DID Press: Ishaq Dar has said that a delegation from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry is present at the venue of talks between Iran and United States in Switzerland, taking part in “technical-level expert discussions” with both sides.

In a post on social media platform X, Dar said Pakistan has so far played its role in promoting “lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond,” and will continue to do so in the future.
He described recent negotiations held in Switzerland as showing “significant progress,” and expressed appreciation for the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir, crediting them with what he called “far-sighted leadership and tireless efforts.”
The Pakistani foreign minister also thanked the government of Qatar for its mediation role in the process.
He further stated that both the United States and Iran demonstrated a “constructive spirit” regarding the implementation of the Islamabad framework agreement.
