Iran to facilitate Afghan attendance at funeral of “Martyr Supreme Leader”
DID Press: The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Esmail Baghaei, has announced that diplomatic missions in Afghanistan are fully prepared to facilitate the participation of Afghan citizens in the funeral ceremony of the late Iranian Supreme leader.

Baghaei said during a press briefing on Tuesday (June 23) that there is significant interest among Afghan nationals to attend the ceremony, and that the Embassy of Iran in Kabul along with Iranian consulates in Afghanistan have taken necessary measures to assist applicants.
He stated that Iran expects a large number of Afghan participants to attend the event and emphasized that all possible facilitation measures would be provided without hesitation.
According to officials, coordination has been established through Iran’s diplomatic missions in Kabul, as well as consulates in Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif, and Kandahar to streamline travel procedures.
The announcement comes amid reported interest from Afghan citizens and other regional communities, reflecting cultural and religious ties between the two neighboring countries.
