Qatar Envoy, Taliban Official Discuss Latest Developments in Afghanistan

DID Press: Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, met with Qatar’s ambassador to Afghanistan, Dr. Murdif bin Ali Al-Qashouti, to discuss the latest developments in the country.

According to a statement issued by the Qatari Embassy in Kabul, the two sides reviewed recent developments in Afghanistan and discussed ways to support the Afghan people.The embassy did not provide further details about the meeting or any specific agreements reached.
