DID Press: The Quds News Network reported that images from funeral ceremony of the Martyr Leader of Islamic Revolution showed mourners throwing stones at a large banner displaying US President Donald Trump during the event in Tehran.
According to the report, the banner carried the slogan “We will not leave you alone,” while sections of the crowd expressed anger through chants and actions directed at the US president.
The footage, as described by the outlet, depicted demonstrators targeting the banner amid anti-US slogans during the mass gathering.
The ceremony, held for Iran’s late leader referred to as the “martyr leader,” drew large crowds in Tehran and has been widely covered by regional media outlets.
