Pakistan Army Warns Taliban Over Border Security
DID Press: Pakistan’s army chief has warned that security forces will continue operations against cross-border threats, accusing armed groups of using Afghan territory to plan attacks against Pakistan.

General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, said during a commanders’ meeting in Rawalpindi that intelligence-based operations would continue under the military campaign known as “Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq.”
Munir alleged that groups including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army were operating from Afghan territory and planning attacks against Pakistan.
He said such activities remain a major obstacle to achieving lasting security and stability in the region, adding that Pakistani security forces would continue operations to protect national security.
The Pakistani army chief also said ongoing intelligence-based actions aim to identify armed elements and their support networks, while maintaining readiness against potential cross-border threats.
