DID Press: US Senator Bernie Sanders has called for an immediate end to the war against Iran, criticizing the resumption of US military actions and accusing President Donald Trump of reversing a ceasefire agreement.
In a statement posted on X, Sanders said Trump had brought the United States into a conflict based on “false claims” and declared the ceasefire with Iran ended less than a month later.
The senator warned that renewed military action would not make the United States stronger, but would instead lead to more casualties and increase the financial burden on American taxpayers.
Sanders concluded his statement by calling for an end to the war.
