Muttaqi Meets Qatari Leaders During Doha Visit
DID Press: Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting foreign minister of the Taliban administration, met senior Qatari leaders during a visit to Doha, where he conveyed condolences over the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

According to Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, spokesperson for the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Muttaqi led a delegation that offered condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.
During the visit, Muttaqi also held separate meetings with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense; and Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Taliban delegation conveyed the condolences and sympathy of the group’s leadership to the Qatari officials following the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
