Afghan Auto Traders Explore Uzbekistan Market

DID Press: A delegation of more than 30 Afghan automotive traders has traveled to Uzbekistan to explore opportunities for expanding imports of Uzbek-made vehicles into the Afghan market.

According to Uzbek media reports, the visit was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Tashkent City Administration.

During the trip, the Afghan delegation is scheduled to visit automobile dealerships, vehicle markets, and companies exporting Uzbek-manufactured vehicles.

The program also includes a series of business meetings between private-sector representatives from both countries to discuss expanding vehicle exports, improving transit routes, broadening dealership networks, and signing new commercial agreements.

The visit is expected to strengthen economic cooperation between Uzbekistan’s automotive industry and Afghan importers while increasing the presence of Uzbek-made vehicles in Afghanistan’s market.
