Afghanistan Invites Iranian Investors to Expand Economic Cooperation

DID Press: Afghanistan has invited Iranian investors to explore investment opportunities in joint economic projects, seeking to deepen trade and economic cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

The invitation was made by Kamaluddin Tawhidi, head of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, during a visit to Iran and his participation in the “Economic Cooperation Opportunities with Afghanistan” conference in Alborz Province.

Participants at the forum discussed ways to strengthen private-sector cooperation, increase joint investments, and expand bilateral trade between Afghanistan and Iran.

Tawhidi said broader economic cooperation could create new investment opportunities and contribute to regional economic growth by encouraging closer collaboration between businesses in both countries.

The meeting comes as Afghanistan seeks to attract more foreign investment and further expand its economic partnerships with neighboring countries.
