Pakistan Army Chief to Visit Tehran to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

DID Press: Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, will travel to Tehran on Monday at the head of an official delegation for talks with senior Iranian officials, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said the visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan and continuing Islamabad’s efforts to support peace and security in the region.

During the visit, Munir is expected to meet with senior Iranian officials in Tehran to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
