DID Press: Gadi Eizenkot remains the preferred candidate to serve as Israel’s next prime minister, according to a new opinion poll, receiving 47 percent support among respondents.

Benjamin Netanyahu gained four percentage points compared with the previous survey, reaching 38 percent, but still trails Eizenkot by nine points.
The poll found that 15 percent of respondents remain undecided between the two candidates.
In a separate head-to-head scenario involving Naftali Bennett and Netanyahu, the race is considerably tighter. Bennett received 43 percent support, compared with 42 percent for Netanyahu.
