Herat Bans Driving by People Under 18

DID Press: Local authorities in Herat have banned people under the age of 18 from driving motorcycles and cars under a new traffic directive.

Officials have urged families not to allow children under 18 to use vehicles, saying the measure is intended to prevent traffic accidents and protect young people from harm.

The decision is aimed at reducing road accidents, enforcing traffic regulations and improving public safety across the province.
