675 kg of Narcotics and Prohibited Substances Destroyed in Ghor

DID Press: Taliban authorities in Ghor Province said they had destroyed 675.3 kg of narcotics and other prohibited substances seized during counter-narcotics operations in the province.

The materials reportedly included 104 kg of opium, 44 litres of alcohol, 9,200 kg of soda ash, 180 kg of acid and 1,500 kg of “yama-balghi.”

According to local authorities, the seized materials were burned and destroyed on Tuesday morning in the presence of an official committee outside the urban area of Firozkoh, the provincial capital.
