DID Press: Yemen’s armed forces have announced a missile and drone operation against a Saudi military base in the Sharurah area, saying weapons depots and command-and-control centers at the facility were targeted. The claim was also reported by international media on Sunday.

Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, said in a statement that the operation was carried out in response to what he described as continued Saudi aggression against Yemen and its people.
According to Saree, Yemen’s armed forces used a large number of ballistic missiles and drones in the operation and said the designated targets at the Sharurah military base were struck “accurately and directly.”
The Yemeni military spokesperson claimed that weapons depots and command-and-control rooms at the base were targeted, saying these facilities were responsible for managing operations against Yemen and its people.
Saree also warned Saudi Arabia that continued attacks against the Yemeni people would be met with broader and more severe operations deep inside Saudi territory, which he said would have serious consequences for the kingdom.
