Iran Extends Amayesh, Temporary Migrant Cards Through March 2027
DID Press: The validity of Amayesh cards and temporary cards held by foreign nationals and migrants in Iran has been systematically extended until 29 Esfand 1405 (March 20, 2027).

Under the extension, the cards’ validity dates have been electronically updated for access to certain services linked to bank cards and mobile phone SIM cards. Holders will therefore not face service disruptions caused solely by the expiration date shown on their cards.
The measure has been introduced solely to prevent disruptions to banking and telecommunications services and does not constitute the issuance or delivery of new cards.
Holders of Amayesh and temporary cards who have experienced suspension or disruption of their SIM cards, bank cards or insurance services can visit Kodyekta offices and designated offices to obtain an updated version of their information.
Although the validity of the cards has been systematically extended until March 20, 2027, the process of issuing and delivering new cards has not yet begun.
The extension is intended to prevent problems for cardholders while they await the issuance of new cards.
