DID Press: Two employees were killed and another was injured after a co-worker opened fire at a United Rentals facility in Manassas, Virginia, on Wednesday, according to police.

Police identified the suspect as 37-year-old Marvin Grant, who they said entered the workplace and told coworkers that three people would die before pulling out a handgun and shooting three colleagues. Manassas Police Chief Douglas Keen said the incident followed an altercation.
The three victims were initially taken to hospital. Police identified those who died as Richard Lamont, 48, and Christopher Serrano, 33. The third victim remained hospitalized in stable condition, according to authorities.
Grant fled the scene after the shooting. Police later tracked him to Interstate 81 in Augusta County, where he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound during a standoff with Virginia State Police. Authorities said police did not use force during the incident.
Police said the motive for the shooting remains unclear and that the investigation is continuing.
