DID Press: Arta Moeini, director of the U.S. Institute for Diplomacy and Peace, has said that Yemen’s strategic city of Taiz is reportedly on the verge of falling to Ansarullah, despite its strategic importance and heavy Saudi airstrikes.

In a note, Moeini wrote that the fall of Taiz could allow Ansarullah to further consolidate its control around the Bab al-Mandab Strait and create a more direct route for Sana’a-aligned forces toward Aden.
