More Than 1,350 Saudi Airstrikes and Missile Attacks Reported in Recent Yemen War
DID Press: Sources close to Sanaa forces say Saudi fighter jets carried out 94 air and missile strikes on various parts of Yemen over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of attacks since the start of the latest conflict to more than 1,350.

According to the report, the provinces of Sanaa, Saada, Taiz, Hajjah, Amran and Ibb were targeted. Yemeni sources also said the attacks killed at least two civilians and wounded more than five others.
Among the targeted areas, Saada and Taiz came under a heavier concentration of strikes. Sources close to Sanaa forces claimed that the increase in attacks in these areas was linked to developments on the ground in southern Saudi Arabia and the Taiz front.
According to this assessment, the attacks in Saada were aimed at easing pressure from Yemeni forces on the Asir, Jizan and Najran regions of southern Saudi Arabia. Regarding Taiz, the sources claimed that the airstrikes were intended to halt the advance of Yemeni forces along that front.
The sources also claimed that developments in Taiz are of strategic importance because the province is connected to routes leading to Yemen’s southwestern coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
