Taliban Call for Afghanistan’s Inclusion in Regional Decision-Making

DID Press: Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban’s chief spokesman, has called for Afghanistan to be included in regional meetings and decision-making processes.

Speaking as the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit was being held in Tajikistan, Mujahid said decisions on regional issues made without Afghanistan’s participation could face difficulties during implementation.

He also called for support for Afghanistan and its participation in regional processes, arguing that the country’s involvement could help ensure more effective implementation of decisions and strengthen regional cooperation.
