Palestine Urges Urgent Global Intervention in West Bank

DID Press: Palestinian Authority has called for urgent international intervention to halt escalating Israeli attacks and actions in the occupied West Bank, particularly in the city of Hebron.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, which cited a statement by the Palestinian Authority, forced evacuations of neighbourhoods, the demolition of homes and buildings, and the siege and closure of Palestinian cities are part of what it described as a systematic Israeli policy in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The statement said that more than 40,000 Palestinians had been forcibly displaced from their homes since the beginning of 2025, adding that the process was continuing.

The Palestinian Authority held Israel fully responsible for the escalation and urged the international community to take immediate action to prevent what it described as continued crimes in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

It warned that these actions would neither bring security nor achieve peace, but would instead fuel tensions and intensify confrontations.
