Ansarullah: Six Missile and Drone Operations Targeted Saudi Oil and Military Sites

DID Press: Yemen’s armed forces (Ansarullah) have carried out six missile and drone operations targeting Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure and positions held by forces of the Saudi-led coalition in several areas, according to a military statement issued by the Houthi movement.

The statement said the targets included King Khalid International Airport, facilities belonging to Saudi Aramco, and military gatherings in Najran, Al-Jawf and Marib.

Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, outlined the details of the operations, saying they involved ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones.

According to the statement, the first operation targeted King Khalid International Airport, oil storage tanks and an Aramco distillation tower in Riyadh. The second targeted Aramco facilities in the Khurais area, while the third struck Pumping Station No. 8 in the Al-Dawadmi area.

The remaining three operations targeted positions and gatherings of Saudi-led coalition forces at the National Guard camp in Najran, eastern Al-Jawf province, and the Ragwan and Madghal areas of Marib province.

Saree said the attacks on military positions in Najran, Al-Jawf and Marib had inflicted heavy casualties and material losses on coalition forces. He added that dozens of people had been killed or wounded in the strikes in eastern Al-Jawf.

The attacks on Saudi military positions and oil infrastructure come amid an escalation in Houthi operations. Saree reiterated that Sanaa would maintain what he described as the forces’ “three-pronged equation” and would not back down in response to Saudi attacks and actions against Yemen. He held those responsible accountable for the consequences of such actions.
