ISIS-Khorasan group had earlier officially claimed the responsibility of Thursday attack in Dasht-e Barchi, but Nusrat Rahimi, the acting head of interior minister’s press office said that their investigations indicate the perpetrators of the attack was Taliban group.
“The organizer of the attack was arrested and two others, who were in the area were killed by the security forces. The attack was launched by Taliban terrorists, and the arrested one is under investigations,” said Nusrat Rahimi.

On Thursday, the 24th death anniversary of Shahid Mazari came under mortar attacks, killing about 11 people and wounding 90 others.
The attackers threw rockets from an area where a telephone network antenna is installed between Paghman and PD-18 of Kabul city, Khoshhal Sadat, the senior deputy to the Afghan Interior Ministry twitted.
