President Ghani in Azerbaijan for GBF
President M. Ashraf Ghani arrived in Zerbaijan late Wednesday to participate at Global Baku Forum (GBF).
President M. Ashraf Ghani arrived in Zerbaijan late Wednesday to participate at Global Baku Forum (GBF).
Besides addressing the forum, president Ghani will also meet his Azerbaijani counterpart to discuss regional issues and expanding bilateral relations, Arg said in a statement.
The governments of Afghanistan and Azerbaijan will also sign an agreement in the field of information and communication technologies, sign a MoU on cooperation in the field of culture as well as a memorandum of intent on cooperation between railways of the two nations, read the statement.
Mr. Ghani will also receive the distinguished Nizami Ganjavi International Award from the Republic of Azerbaijan for his visionary leadership, promoting regional connectivity, and expanding trade and cross-cultural initiatives in the region.
