The Ministry said that in the past 24 hours, 395 suspicious COVID-19 cases were tested in laboratories, in which, 172 cases were positive.
Therefore, the total number of infections has reached 34,366 so far. Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Kandahar, Nangarhar and Paktia have the highest number of infections.
In the past 24 hours, 253 patients have been recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 21,135 in the country.
At the same time, 23 patients died as a result of the coronavirus. The total number of deaths has reached 994 nationwide.
