Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan Condemned Istanbul Blast
Did Press: The Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan (CNRSA) in a statement condemned the terrorist attack in Istanbul, extending its condolences to the people and government of Turkey.
“This event showed that terrorism as a serious peril threatens the security of the region and the world, and it must be decisively fought on a broad global platform,” CNRSA said in a statement.
The statement mentioned Turkey as an influential country in the region, stressing that it should continue the fight against terrorism seriously.
It also mentioned terrorism in Afghanistan.
“The Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan emphasizes that the world should not be indifferent to the supporters of terrorism and their safe havens, especially in Afghanistan. Terrorism must be considered a serious threat. The international community, aside from selective approaches, should take the necessary coordination and comprehensive measures to eradicate it,” read the statement.
The explosion in Istanbul earlier this week killed at least six and injured over eighty people. Turkish authorities announced that the perpetrator was a female member of the PKK.
